There are many reasons you might want to start moving your body more mindfully.

Whether it’s for fitness, overall health, or to feel better both physically and mentally, this is a great place to begin.

Conscious movement and self-awareness provide the tools you need to stay on track with your health and vitality.

Moving is underestimated in its ability to clear physical, energetic, emotional & mental stagnation in the body.

To clear the body of stagnation enables us to clear the mind of stagnation & vise versa.

Not only that, Conscious movement enables us to regulate the systems of the body for prevention & healing & even access our intuition.

This concept is anything but new. In fact, it’s been around for thousands of years, forming the foundation of ancient practices like Yoga and Qigong from Yogic and Daoist traditions.

On the mat, you get to connect with yourself through movement, postures, meditation, breathwork, and mindful observation. These practices help you tune into your body and mind, promoting balance, growth, and well-being—both physically and mentally.

I’m here to guide you through those first steps, helping dissolve any doubts you may have. Together, we’ll explore what suits you best, and how conscious movement can benefit your life.

I’ll share tools and techniques so you can develop your own practice, empowering you to build a fulfilling relationship with your body and live life to the fullest.

A Practice of conscious Movement.

  • 1x free online 20 minute consultation

  • 3x 1.5 hour appointments → Creating your practice

During our appointments I will introduce you to the movement practices of Yoga & Qigong, as well as design a practice to integrate into your daily routine so that you can start to feel the benefits of conscious movement.

Our bodies have a subtle language & they’re communicating to us all the time. But how often do we listen? And even if we do listen do we understand? I am here to teach you how to listen & understand. All you have to do is practice.

  • How it works:

    • Fill in questionnaire you, your wants & needs & return before our first meeting.
    • 1st meeting:
    • We will discuss the questionnaire & your answers.
    • Chat about what a conscious movement practice is?
    • A conversation about the different forms of Yoga for your needs
    • Talk about the mind, body & emotions, thoughts & sensations.
    • Props, what you do & don’t need & why.
    • Preparation – removing distractions-Relax to relax.
    • The all important warm-ups.
    • Postural alignment & why. 
    • Lets move! Foundational Practice of Yoga.
    • Keeping an account of your mind & emotions during practice & off the mat – Keeping a note book diary.
    • Homework → Go home & have fun with it!  ☺︎
    • 2nd meeting:
    • Discuss experience so far – note book diary.
    • Practice the art of Breathing properly.
    • Recap on the art of conscious movement.
    • Recap on the Foundational Practice of Yoga
    • A conversation about Qigong & Yin Yoga
    • Foundational Practice of Qigong.
    • Homework → Go home & have fun with it!  ☺︎
    • 3rd meeting:
    • Discuss experience so far – note book diary.
    • Discuss observation & stillness in movement.
    • Recap on the art of conscious movement.
    • Recap on Yoga & Qigong.
    • Discuss your experiences, wants & needs.
    • Work together in crafting a practice for you.

    • Discuss experience so far – note book diary.
    • Q & A

    • Practice makes perfect – A practice for you.

If you would like to supplement your personal practice with guidance, I offer one-hour sessions online or in person, no matter where you are.
